Shipping policy

Books are heavy but important, so we take care to package them securely and we try our best to secure the best rates for your delivery with Australia Post.

Standard Delivery Australia-wide

For consumer orders on this site, our rates are shown at check out and are based on Australia Post or standard rates. All deliveries will have full tracking available. We ship Australia-wide and Internationally to locations with Fedex, as long as those locations do not have delivery restrictions.

If you are overseas but delivering to an Australian address, the rates shown will relate to the delivery address you have entered.

For wholesale and educational orders, your delivery rate and timeframe will be quoted upon order confirmation and invoice.

Standard International Delivery

  • We have resumed shipping to the USA. Please note, taxes and duties payable in all international markets are not included in our charges. Please be aware that you may be asked to pay local taxes and duties upon arrival as deemed appropriate by your customs agency.
  • Deliveries take 6-27 days as advised by Australia Post
  • Please clearly state your phone number, email address and postal address on your order.

Processing Times

Titles published by Piper Press will ship faster than books from our partners, and may be processed within 24 hours of receiving your order, Monday to Friday.

All other titles are subject to processing times at distributor warehouses and we advise allowing 4-10 days.

From time to time, our distributor warehouse must deliver your item first and this will shipped to you as a consolidated order. We believe in ‘slow commerce’ and rather than burn up the planet with multiple transport deliveries, we parcel all your goodies up into one delivery. Your patience will be rewarded!

Delivery Times

For Australian deliveries -

  • Metro NSW, VIC, QLD deliveries take 1-3 days
  • Regional NSW, VIC, QLD deliveries take 3-7 days
  • All other States and Territories require 3-7 days

All parcels will be delivered with a tracking number which will be sent to you upon dispatch. Please be sure to keep an eye on, and use, the tracking link sent. Some dispatch emails may be attracted to your Spam Folder or Junk Folder, so do keep an eye out and check there.
