Piper Press titles are distributed to bookshops, gallery and museum shops, libraries and schools across Australia and New Zealand in partnership with New South Books. In addition our titles are available internationally.

We offer large and small arts projects the chance to develop publishing capacity beyond the limitations of in-house teams by taking on additional titles. When considering submissions, we believe in books that add important dialogue to the cultural landscape and have a strong audience. We manage the full publishing process thoughtfully, with attention to the audience, book format, paper quality, demand and logistics. We support editorial, design, and printing stages to a high quality. We take care of marketing all titles, and guiding your copyright and ISBN requirements. 

We welcome submissions including manuscripts for artist monographs and retrospectives, and art, architecture, design, photography and related histories, as well as illustrated biographies and arts autobiographies. Please note, we are unable to publish coffee table books or image-based books that contain no written content, critical analysis or narrative.
