The month of November flew past us with preparation underway for the arrival of Greg Weight's new book, Exposure A photographic memoir plus production of Limited Edition Art Prints offered here from late November. It's not often the book buying public gets the chance to own a piece of Australian art at a modest price. These prints are a selection of five special images from Greg's vast archive, produced on A2 size archival paper in editions of 25 only.
Upcoming events include Greg Weight in Conversation at Bookoccino Avalon on December 6th at 6pm. On the same weekend (December 5-7th), this cultural capital of the northern beaches will come alive with thedeepnorth.au festival, so come on over to Greg's event and enjoy the performances scheduled for the town tent, plus the offers at the many boutiques, restaurants and cafes. What could be better than a swim, great coffee, some jazz and an author talk all in one day?
Australian Galleries will officially launch Greg Weight's new book, as not only one of Australia's pre-eminent galleries but Greg's representatives for many decades. An exhibition of Greg's work is on show until December 20th, with some of Greg's most stunning and now rare images of Brett Whiteley, Emily Kam Kngwarray, Jeffrey Smart, and his works from the interior of Australia and night sky. Stay tuned for the event date!
Adding to our schedule this month is the pending development of four books in 2026 and two reprints, and we hope to have more to share on those soon, but for now - keep an eye on December's posts on Instagram and Facebook when Exposure A photographic memoir will arrive in good bookstores, public galleries, museums and libraries thanks to our distributors New South Books.
If you're a library lover, the E-version of Greg's book will become available to read at many State and regional libraries and the National Gallery of Australia over coming months.
